At 40 inches of total depth, you might expect the Rumors to feel more upright or compact. Instead, the pitch of the back allows you to settle much farther into the sofa, making it feel surprisingly deep and loungey without taking up the floor space of an oversized, extra-deep sofa.

It’s one of our favorite things about the Rumors. From across the room, it looks clean and tailored. Once you sit down, it feels completely different.

There’s something especially fitting about putting a locally made sofa in a neighborhood with such a strong appreciation for independent businesses, craftsmanship, art, and thoughtful design.

Our sofas are made locally here in Los Angeles, using lumber sourced from West Coast mills. Keeping production close to home helps reduce the distance our furniture has to travel while also giving us greater control over how each piece is built.

Instead of ordering a sofa that has traveled thousands of miles before it reaches your living room, your sofa is being made right here in LA.

And custom doesn’t necessarily mean waiting months. Our typical production time is just 2–3 weeks.
